Cinnamon Crockpot Apples

These are DELICIOUS. Heaven in a crockpot. Seriously, if you don’t try anything from my blog, please take the time to try out this recipe. It’s literally the easiest baked apples you’ll ever make and i swear they will be the tastiest!

Crockpot Baked apples

Ingredients

  • 4 Large Golden Delicious Apples
  • Cinnamon
  • Cream of tartar
  • Maple syrup (just a dash or so)
  • Coconut oil (just eye it, maybe ¼ of a cup)

Topping:

  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ cup pecan halves
  • 2 Tbsp Butter (melted) or coconut oil
  • 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • ¼ cup Almond Flour
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp cream of tartar

Instructions

  1. Cut and core Apples – place in crock pot
  2. Sprinkle Cinnamon, cream of tartar, maple syrup, and coconut oil over the apples
  3. Toss with spoon in crock pot so all apple pieces get coated with ingredients. Turn crockpot on to high
  4. In a a small bowl, combine all the topping ingredients, you may have to add more butter or coconut oil
  5. Spoon topping evenly on the top of the apples in the crockpot, cover and let sit on high for 2 hours
  6. After 2 hours remove cover from crockpot and turn crockpot to low and let bake uncovered for 30 more minuets
  7. Enjoy!
